The nine public school districts in the Gratiot and Isabella counties are participating in the Schools of Choice Program.  Each district can choose to either offer Limited or Unlimited Participation. Students who have been previously expelled or suspended either in/out of school in the last two previous years can be denied enrollment.

Limited Participation: A school determines how many students by grade level it can accommodate. The following districts offer limited participation:

Alma Public Schools
Beal City Public Schools
Ithaca Public Schools
Mt. Pleasant Public Schools
Shepherd Public Schools
St. Louis Public Schools

Unlimited Participation: A school can accept all students who apply. The following districts offer unlimited participation:

Ashley Community Schools
Breckenridge Community Schools
Fulton Schools
