On Behalf of the Board of Education and administration, Welcome to Gratiot-Isabella RESD! It's our pleasure to serve our nine public school districts: Alma Public Schools, Ashley Community Schools, Beal City Public Schools, Breckenridge Community Schools, Fulton Schools, Ithaca Public Schools, Mt. Pleasant Public Schools, St. Louis Public Schools, and Shepherd Public Schools. We are proud to offer services to Morey Flex-Tech High School, and Renaissance Public School Academy as well. Our professional staff is engaged with the fantastic instructional leaders and staff throughout Gratiot and Isabella counties supporting 11,500 students!

GIRESD is fortunate to have positive relationships with several local, county, and state-wide organizations and municipalities providing our region with high-quality, innovative educational experiences. In 2013, we implemented our GI-TECH programs providing all high school students an opportunity to attain skills and certifications in the area of trades, business procedures, and the arts.

We look forward to continuing our proactive work with the goal of providing the best services for all of our students, and districts in the areas of special education, instructional best practices, career technology education, technology infrastructure, and promoting career exploration for all GIRESD districts and students.
